The privacy of your data (and it is your data, not ours) is a big deal to us. We only collect what we need, we never sell your information, and we're upfront about everything we do with it. This policy explains it all in plain language.
What We Collect
Contact Form Data
When you submit a contact request (Publisher, Advertiser, or Job Seeker form), we collect your first name, last name, email address, and any additional fields you complete — such as phone number, company name, website, traffic sources, monthly budget, payout model, target geographies, and your message. This data is processed and stored by Netlify (our hosting and form processing provider) and retained for up to 2 years, or until you request deletion.
Analytics Data
We use Umami Analytics (cloud.umami.is) to understand how visitors use our site. Umami is a privacy-first analytics platform — it does not use cookies, does not collect personally identifiable information, and anonymizes all IP addresses before storage. Data collected includes page views, referrer URLs, browser type, and device type. Umami analytics data is retained for up to 12 months.
Job Board Data
Our job board is powered by Supabase (a database infrastructure provider). When you search or browse job listings, no personal information is collected or stored. Job listings themselves are sourced from third-party employment feeds and stored in our Supabase database.
Font Loading
Our site loads fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). Google may collect your IP address as part of serving font files. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.
Third-Party Service Providers
We work with the following third-party providers. Each has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data:
- Netlify — Hosting and form processing. Netlify Privacy Policy

- Supabase — Database infrastructure for the job board. Supabase Privacy Policy
- Google Fonts — Web font delivery. Google Privacy Policy
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any other third parties for marketing purposes.
How We Use Your Data
We use your data only to operate the ShiftClicks platform and communicate with you. Specifically:
- To respond to your contact or partnership inquiries
- To deliver the services you've requested
- To prevent fraud and protect our technical infrastructure
- To improve site performance using anonymized analytics
- To comply with applicable legal obligations
Your Privacy Rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):
- Right to Know: You may request a copy of the personal information we have collected about you in the past 12 months, including the categories, sources, and purposes of collection.
- Right to Delete: You may request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to Opt-Out of Sale: We do not sell your personal information to any third party, and we never have. If this practice changes, we will update this policy and provide a clear opt-out mechanism before doing so.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not deny you services, charge you different prices, or provide a lower quality of service because you exercised any privacy right.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@shiftclicks.com with the subject line "CCPA Privacy Request." We will respond within 45 days.
Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary:
- Contact form submissions: Up to 2 years from the date of submission, or until you request deletion.
- Analytics data (Umami): Up to 12 months, anonymized and aggregated.
- Job board data: No personal data is stored — job listings are from third-party feeds only.
You may request early deletion at any time by emailing privacy@shiftclicks.com.
Children's Privacy
ShiftClicks is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@shiftclicks.com.
Security & Breach Notification
All data transmissions are protected with SSL/TLS encryption. We implement industry-standard security measures and conduct regular audits of our systems. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify affected users as required by applicable law — and no later than 72 hours after we become aware of the breach.
